gained 19 years experience with various divisions of Mars,
Inc. in Europe, Australia
and the USA
including 4 years as Sales Development Director for M&M/Mars, where he
built a new department focused on development of innovative trade marketing
programs. He also held the position of
Management Sciences Director for 4 years, managing internal Mars, Inc.
consultants internationally across multiple business functions with personal
responsibility for Sales and Marketing information systems, Sales organization
strategy and trade strategy.
At BEAN&BEAN, Andrew Bean has led consulting projects for The
Pillsbury Company, Ocean Spray, M&M/MARS, Kraft Foods, CPC/Bestfoods,
Reckitt Benckiser, Topps, Electronic Arts, Mattel, and other companies. Areas
of focus include developing price and trade promotion strategies using sophisticated analysis of syndicated and internal marketing data. Andrew is also the developer of BEAN&BEAN's
"SIMPLE" category management information software, marketed
internationally to sales agencies and manufacturers, and has hosted national

Andrew also applies his extensive business experience of developing high
performance teams in delivering organizational development solutions to
progressive companies.
Andrew Bean obtained his B.A. degree at Cambridge
University in England, achieving First Class
Honors, and earned a Ph.D. before entering the consumer goods industry. He has taught MBA level courses in Principles
of Marketing, Internet Marketing, and Managing Innovation at Cardean University, and Managerial Marketing,
Global Environment of Business, and International Marketing at Ellis College of NYIT.
