Before joining BEAN&BEAN
Consulting in 1991, Dr. Andrew Bean
gained 19 years experience with various divisions of Mars,
Inc. in Europe, Australia
and the USA
including 4 years as Sales Development Director for M&M/Mars, where he
built a new department focused on development of innovative trade marketing
programs. He also held the position of Management Sciences Director for 4
years, managing internal Mars, Inc. consultants across multiple business
functions and operating internationally, with personal focus on and
responsibility for Sales and Marketing information systems, Sales organization
strategy and trade strategy.
Over the past 14 years, Andrew Bean has led consulting projects for Reckitt
Benckiser, Mattel, Topps, The Pillsbury Company, Ocean Spray, M&M/MARS,
Kraft Foods, Electronic Arts, CPC/Bestfoods, and other companies, in a variety
of marketing, Sales, and technology management areas. (Biography
and c.v.) Andrew also collaborates with Dr. Cindy
Bean in delivering focused organization development programs such as
leadership development and team building. Dr. Andrew
Bean is a qualified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs
Personality Type Indicator (MBTI). He is an experienced public speaker,
recognized as a Distinguished Toastmaster by Toastmasters International.
Andrew Bean obtained his B.A. degree at Cambridge
University in England,
achieving First Class Honors, and earned a Ph.D. before entering the food
business in 1972. He has taught MBA
level courses in Principles of Marketing, Internet Marketing, and Managing
Innovation at Cardean University, and
Managerial Marketing, Global Environment of Business, and International
Marketing at Ellis College of NYIT.
